what do you mean by getting the lady you think you deserveit makes it sound like its not an appointment you are making but the aftermath of a prayer for her to answer the phone and see you?....for instance in your head it might be like this
"oh god Ive had a shit week..please let _______ answer her phone...pretty please...k tnx bai"

the more I look at this question the more fucked it looks to me, what way do you mean it?
lets break it apart; first part: "the lady you intended to meet" meaning what? bait and switch scenarios? or maybe that you wanted to meet miss y all week but she doesnt answer so you are left with no choice (in your head at least) to call another one and book her against your better judgement? and if you do that how happy are you with the outcome

If you put in a little effort, you will usually get to meet who you wish to meet.
I often find though that ringing at 6 o clock, on the last day of someone's tour is a bit hit or miss.
