Hi sorry if this is in the wrong section please feel free to move it if it is as i looked through the site and wasn't sure where to post it.
Ok so here goes, If an escort asked a guy to work as security/minder in her apartment while she is working. Is he breaking the law in any way?
This would be an arrangement between the escort and guy, she would be a completely independent escort working for herself not trafficked or being pimped in any way and working in the apartment by herself with no other girls.
I have looked around the net and only found mixed info some saying its legal others saying its illegal as in you could be done for pimping even tho your not.
If anyone could shed some light on this for me, thanks

If the apartment where she is working from gets raided, you could be arrested for 'living off immoral earnings' or considered a 'pimp'. It's basically 'how long is a piece of string' conundrum. Nobody will be able to give you a black & white answer, and, if the case goes to court, it will depend on how the judge sees your predicament.

Also an idea if you do work as a bodyguard for an escort,would be better not stay in the apartment but be around the apt block during her working hours

If an escort was seen to pay you for any service, be it security or otherwise, then this is illegal. Whereby it is legal for a girl/guy to work as an escort, it is illegal for anyone else to gain financial reward for assisting in same... This is the law in Ireland as it currently stands.
