    Question Windows 10

Why does my computer keep trying to install windows 10.
Is there a way to stop it permanently?

Already one computer is jammed when I tried to stop windows being installed

And is there any shop that you would trust to fix it?

    (in Dublin)

    10 windows?
That's not a lot, it's no wonder your looking to get more installed you must be permanently in the dark.

    This is well known.
If you bought a computer with windows 7 or 8, Microsoft sometimes offered the option of a free upgrade to windows 10.
A lot of people didn't want windows 10. A security update installed a popup that continuously offers the upgrade a lot of people don't want.

Just go ahead and install it you grumpy old Bollocks ..... It is worth doing , it seems faster and more user friendly than 8 .
But you should download a driver pack for your make and model of pc first . Have that as a back up as some of 10's drivers have not worked for me . When updated , get the latest 10 drivers for any printers and devices you have .

I'm starting to sound like Yamser

All you can do is click on the update and keep cancelling it.
But it will keep coming back.

A computer shop can't disable it because Microsoft keeps downloading it with so-called "security updates"

Could try this but it is complicated if you are not computer literate.

That is what I do, keep cancelling it.

But on the other computer somehow it loaded, cause mouse was moved. and when it came to the agree section I answered NO. and since then I cant use it. Thanks Steve, but I really need someone knowledgeable to fix it. There is nothing particularly confidentail on it like bank details or porn sites. The worst is Bollocks threads, which is personal to me and the female escorts who know me. People say not to instal 10.

you can install it and try it out for several weeks 'sort of test drive the thing' if youre not happy you can revert back to your old operating system easily enough, well with windows 7 anyway, take her handy bollocks
