In one particular case I was parked outside the apartment and could get no answer to my calls. If I had got a message that she was running late I could have just left and came back, or alternatively just waited.
Because I didn’t know want was happening I just waited and kept phoning. I didn’t want to keep the car running because it would have looked suspicious were I had parked. I didn’t know the area I was in well enough to move and park somewhere else.
