    Simple mistake
Firstly appointment was for 4:30 and she forgot that. Then I was asked to wait 10 mins extra and she would text me room number 4:45 came and went and no text. I ring at 5 and get room number and I'm left in the hall because somebody else has same appointment.
How many mistakes does it take to get pissed

At the end of the day we all know the score.

    Simple case of "OOPS"

I have experienced quite a few "OOPS" moments and I am sure a lot of other people have too. Not nice when it happens but stuff happens.........
    What would I have done?
What I have done a few times in the past, go downstairs to the bar, have another (possibly soft) drink.
At least it hapened in a hotel where there is somewhere to wait. Beats waiting in the cold in the car or wandering aimlessly some distance from the appartment because you don't want to look suspicious.

Yep. It is totally impossible to be inconspicuous. The more you try, as you say, the more suspicious you look.

    Especially me!

To avoid suspicion I all but walk over and ask people if I am blending in!
