    Default EIR Tv

Anyone with Eircom or Eir as they are today for their TV?

    Any use?
Do they have to run wires around the house or is it Internet based and wireless?

    Anyone know?

Does that mean the TV connection is wireless?

No its wired from the modem to the set top box. They use power line adapters to get from the modem to the TV room / STB. So usually modem in the hallway then power line adapter to sitting room STB.

First off - it will slow your current Internet connection down.

I know of 2 people who had it and both got rid of it. They were not happy with picture quality and every so often they lost reception totally.
