    Thankyou all for all your advise i was afraid to go near him in case he would bite me so i locked the sittingroom door so he wouldnt fly any where else in the house i got my next door neighbour at 9 this morning to try get him out amy you were right he put a towel over him and put him in my back garden he flew away i am going to get someone to put a cage over the chimney as they do be flying up and down it no i wasnt drinking last night i was on a call out

    Yes, my cat(s) would have loved to chase the poor thing, but no, that would have been cruel, poor magpie.

    I did open the window but i'm not Dr Dolittle, no talkin' to him, he just wouldn't fly out when I wanted and had to wait for him to go himself, he eventually did that evening but the dirty fecker sh*t around the room and even sh*t on Chow Mein on the sofa bed, a hardsport's fanatic it seems lol!
