And short of phoning the idiots crying (that will never happen BTW) they are that insensitive that they don't pick up on it when your feeling very low!

I have been crying inside a few times when I needed support from my family or a hug.

But hey I'll be there for them when they call me crying, that's what unconditional love is all about & family me thinks.

And being a strong person is all about.

This is what i cant understand when my ph rings its one of my family for example would you have this or that and the fool i am i say ye of course come over and i give it to you but when i ask would they do something for me i get oh i vant at moment its all lies x x

I think it depends. All relationships need nurturing and quite often you get out of it what you put in. It's also a matter of perspective. More likely a friend is going to know your genuine situation with work and how difficult or important it is for you to get something done, whereas a family member may not have a clue about what you are up against or why you can't do something yourself, so they think you are being lazy etc. There are certain things I would ask my family to help me with and others I would ask a close friend and more often than not, I would just try and deal with it myself, as I am not good at asking for help.

People will always surprise you when the shit hits the fan, the ones that you thought don't really care can often be the ones that help you to pick up the pieces.

Thankfully I can usually depend on family members to help out if I ask.
It's usually a small thing like giving me a lift to the pub & I only ask if it's wet & they are nearby.
