But also involving onlookers who may stay as voyeurs or join in if all parties are agreeable.. The thing tends to begin with headlights/headlamps being flashed to show who is there or who is interested,,,,, not that I would know.
The term came from England, where it started as a euphemism - I'm off to walk the dog being said, rather than, I'm off for some public sex.
