He was just suggesting that Petros's unoffical thread yesterday takes some attention or excitement from the official thread today.
But I guess there is plenty of room for both.

I agree, there is room for both once officially declared but again they were usually merged, just asking, if it's the way it is now so be it, just another change, this one for the worse IMO, I wouldn't imagine any other competition allowing the winner to be announced on their own site ahead of time...

"Is this the way you are going to be? Are all your posts going to be complaints about how we choose to run our forums?"

It's not a complaint, more a question of consistency on how you run your forum, as per my question, what if he had got it wrong as has happened in the past, ok it worked out this time, if you don't want to see the downside of speculation but instead imply I've done nothing but complain since my return them ok, your forum, your prerogative. Reading back on my posts since I returned I don't see your point other than you focusing in on one issue and implying it's my status quo.

He got the winner of us, not the other way round.
Don't imply please that there was any room for speculation.

It is not fair on the winner, somehow it takes the credit of her achievement.
