    Barging in on here as this is sort of my subject. My dissertation was on the political economy of big tobacco and the industry is truly fascinating. The problem is that now there are more non smokers than smokers and they are a well organized bunch who discriminate severly against smokers for their own craxy agenda's. If smokers actually cared enough to join together as a progressive group then things might not be the way that they've become as the majority of laws/legislation is wholly unnecessary. There are many benefits to people smoking which non smokers don't even consider. I'm not a smoker anymore but for all you wonderful people contributing millions in tax and for the death benefit - thank you for smoking! :-)
