    Default Hurling 2016

With the National League now reaching a conclusion it is time to start this thread.

Kilkenny Cody will not have lost any sleep over the semi final defeat however it shows a lack of depth in the squad. No team is unbeatable.

Clare Yet to lose a match this year. Impressive in semi final win. Going in the right direction again. Cusack a big addition to the management team.

Waterford Trying to mix the defensive and offensive together seamlessly. Work in progress.

Tipperary If they could get Bonner Maher scoring then they would be a very hard team to stop.

Limerick Need more consistent performances. Confidence when events go wrong seems to be an issue as well.

Galway Relegated from top division. Players would seem to be under pressure now given what happened last winter.

Cork Avoided relegation from top division. Lack of success at underage level coming back to haunt now.

Wexford The progress of 2014 seems to have disappeared. 2 under 21 All Ireland final appearances may give hope.

Offaly Rebuilding with a good manager. Will probably take time.

The success story of the league has been Kerry. Not a surprise though as they were Christy Ring champions last year and have been in a number of under 21 B All Ireland finals. They seem to be building on that progress.

League Final is Clare v Waterford which should be an interesting match.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and predict Leicestershire will win the all Ireland.

What worried me about the game today and the cork Dublin game last night was the gulf in class between the matches. Last night looked like a challenge match, today was full on championship hurling. Kilkenny bring out the best in teams but they are still well ahead of the rest.

I think Kilkenny are well ahead then Tipp and Waterford are getting close and the rest are making up the numbers.

Same in Football with Dublin well ahead and Kerry and was Mayo only ones who could come close to them.

Great response by deiseu21s especially by the senior members. Stephen Bennett looks ready to make impression at senior level. Leaner and fitter looking than last year
