Thie is just to let you know that im packing modding.My rerasoning for this is twofold,

(1) Gemma states that mods have access to the private escorts forum.This isnt the case at all and mods are on a no win situation as a result.

(2) People have their minds made up regardless about modding.

Pat, my time is my time.Im not being paid for this and i sure have other things i can think of doing besides scanning through stuff that is only going to reappear again and again regardless of what modding is done or isnt done.

What burst the bubble for me is one look at the membership of paws group.

Its a group formed to protect privacy yet just think back and look at some of those names.

Brenda named ninebythree here before.

Brigette ,Brenda, Lynne all part of the famous list.

Sexy Naomi had lies and nasties about her life put up here not long ago by the founder of the group.

Gemma had private info put up here by the founder of the group.

The founder of the group named a guy on here leading to this whole modding episode to begin with.

When i saw this stuff its time to pass the bucket because its so hypocritical it would make a person puke.These ppl cant even see that its only his own selfish needs that he wants fixed.

Regardless ppl have their minds made up.I said before that noone would bully me anywhere but i have to look at this for a "better things to do with my time" prospective.The negativity alone isnt worth the hassle.

If ppl have their minds made up that mods have access to the private mods forum or that mods are here to get certain ppl then nothing we can do about that.

However there is alot i can do about my own free time.Pity because this place was spot that someone could just come and chill but thats no longer the case.

I knwo you may not be happy with this but thats my descision on the matter.It completly comes down to my own time being better spent than defending myself over issues that ppl have their minds made up about anyway.

I could'nt disagree with you more in this instance.

This place has seen tremendous improvements since Patricia introduced community mods and started to swing her whip and though all the mods are doing a great job, you're doing the best job of the lot.

So what if some people want to make false accusations about mods having access to the escort private section, or complain about the way in which you carry out your function, or establish little protest groups to push their agenda. They are the same ones who were against the concept of community mods in the first place, they lost that arguement and now rather than gratiously conceding defeat, are resorting to desperate measures to keep their lost cause alive.

I did not know Mods do not have access to the private forum because I have not been keeping up2 date or readoing the mod threads. Do not quit. You will only be making alot of people happy by quitting.

I do understand that it is not worth the hassle and stress of all the feedback you are getting being a mod but thats just people that get satisfaction out of annoying other people. Take no notice of this and take it in stride. Give as good as you are getting.

Westie you have done a great job to date.

I think we have cleared up any confusion regards the Private Escort Forum. I think eveyone accepts now that you don't have access to this and thus nothing to do with it can be blamed on you.

Yes some people don't want community mods, but really I think the community mods thing has gone really well so far. I think an awful lot of people think it is working great. And as for those that don't, we can show them still! Things are running better here for having Community Mods. We haven't put a lid on free speech and people can still contact me and complain directly if they feel something is wrong, we have simply shown the messers and the haters that they don't run the show here anymore!

I totally understand that you feel you have better things to do with your time. And you and the other Community Mods have been given a really hard time, largely because you are the first. I feel it's been tough to start out with but things will get easier and easier as time goes on and people see you guys are not the enemy. As you know because we have discussed it in private, I also think we could use a couple more Community Mods and there are plans to increase the number to 4 shortly then maybe 5. This is because I think all community mods should only be here very part-time, that it shouldn't become like a job, thus 3 total is too small a number.

I have been on several successful forums that use community mods recently (yes that might have been me who just registered on your favourite gardening or football forum!) and the way I see it working on successful sites it that the community mods are people with an interest in the forum that help out from time to time, they are not slaves working around the clock getting abuse as they go! The problem is you've found this too much like the latter so far!

As I said to you privately I actually let out a sigh of relief when I saw the Mod status under your username. As you and the others are yer own men and none of you are in anyone’s pocket and only want a bit of fair play and sanity to return to this place.

Look at how an issue as huge as this list thing has to date been discussed with mostly maturity and lacking in what was the norm only weeks ago. The avoidance of a huge abuse fest here is down to mods being around and a knowledge amongst almost everyone that Patricia will no longer allow such tactics as has been employed thus far.

Please reconsider and ignore the leeches who drain the blood of free speech while pretending to defend it. They can only gorge for so long before dropping swollen and bloated from sating such negative needs.

Stick around at least till Patricia gets back from the hols and do the sweetie this favor. She has earned it in fairness to her.

Some people here do not realize that there is a shelf life to any regular poster, myself included and also as I said before all anyone has here is credibility and once that is squandered by doing the crap to people that has been slung at so many for so long then they reach a point when no one takes any more notice of them or believes a word they type and at that point they are at the end of the E-I road but they don’t have the noodle to see it or have anything else better to do then try and destroy any chance of others making use of this place.

I am sure the Escorts caught up in the list thing are glad that things here did not spiral into what it has on IIE and and that their voice was allowed to be heard for once without being shouted down and hounded by the usual pups of pestilence and that is down to mods of merit being around and you are a mod and a man of merit so please reconsider.
