    Default which laptop to buy?

Im getting a new laptop. my question is should i buy a cheaper one for around 250 euro that has 2GB of memory or a dearer one with 4GB of memory. Bearing in mind all i use the laptop is internet and microsoft word. would a 2GB laptop run smoothly just using the internet and microsoft word and anti-virus as well.

Buy 2 of the cheap ones, you can have 2 accounts here then and still have 4GB.
Some people have to have the last word,
but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
as they like the sound of their own voices too much.

Rubbish! 2gig of ram is plenty with newer processors these-days. Especially if the most daunting task it will be asked to do is browse the web and use word!

I bring an Asus T100 with me when traveling it has only 1.8 gig ram available (out of 2gig) and its absolutely fine for word processing and web browsing.
