    Cool Sex in 1916

Inner Dublin city was a vast sex brothel in 1916, especially around the Monty area.

Did the sex trade die down?

or continue as usual despite the bombings and shootings.

    Monto.
Without resotrting to Google, I think it died down a lot after Independence for reasons such as the increasing power of the Catholic church, new conservative, disapproving, Irish authorities;the loss of many of their customers ie the British Army and authorities.
Most of it was poverty stricken inner city women trying to make ends meet in the days long before social welfare.

    Shalom/salaam.
10,000 years of Middle Eastern civilisation and the place is not at peace but rather in pieces.
