I am sure you have heard this all before but let me give you the official line from the company behind our reasoning:

We do not want to discriminate anyone. We provide the same advertising opportunity to all our advertisers, regardless if they wish to verify their pictures or open their profile to the reviews. I understand that some advertisers might choose to avoid reviews for different reasons, but we still would like to protect those who wish their business to remain private in order to protect their privacy.

There are advanced search options for the reviews and verification of the profile available. There will be more filters to be added on to make this more accurate. For now just please tick the boxes "verified photos" and "allows reviews" next to select language when searching.

Yes yes yes... We know the "official line".. But I'm just putting it out there, not all punters are EI savy... and if new customers get burnt too often will that affect biz?

This site, I think, is brill... possibly one of the best in the world... why drag it down with prominent falsehood...

Belfst is constntly the worst. Of the 59 at the moment 25 no reviews and when photos added figure is 32.. of the 59 only 27 will allow reviews and photos.

There are 32 profiles on the home page, and at time of typing this, 15 of these are fake profiles, i.e. profiles with unverified pics and review opt out. That's 50%... WTF!

It just got me thinking. As a business plan, to those not as well versed as ourselves in all that is EI, would you not think at first glance that this site is a sham. You could imagine two guys down the pub.. "Yeah, I had a look last night.. a load of bollicks, Sher half of 'em are fakes.. and the other half could be dodgy too!.."... This is the possible perception. Not a very good first impression to the new customer. Now, we know that behind the wall of fakes, there is a wonderful selection of beautiful genuine ladies, but Joe-punter may not. I suppose it makes no difference to me, as I can spot a fake even before I even click, its just annoying, as I like to use the home page as a first glance of who has moved location or maybe spot somebody new, but this wall of fakes is getting out of hand.

If I were marketing/business manager of EI I would allow fake profiles. After all, income is income. But to let it get out of hand is just going to come back and bite you in the bum. You wouldn't see Bill Cullen putting clapped out old bangers with a new spray job in his showroom windows while he has the genuine good cars in the yard behind. He'd be feckin mad!!! If it were my decision I would sent the following memo to Dev/Advertisment teams... "Fake profiles are allowed, But not on Home Page!"...

James,this is very discouraging ,at least for myself.
When I think about the money we invest in getting always new pictures,nice clothes etc so we can show our best,when I think about the risk of my photos being for ever on google ,it just makes me considering having a fake profile.
It literally saves you money and effort because you just lie on your sofa and put up pics that are not yours but hell sometimes brings more clients than it brings with my own pics.
And I know this because many yrs ago I used to do this until I decided is not fair anymore.
But the only thing that keeps me from doing it again is that I feel guys deserve knowing who they will see and also I have worked damn to hard to build up my profile ,reviews,guys that have become my regulars and they deserve at least going thro the effort of having my real pics and letting them know thro my reviews that they won't get dissapointed.
I believe is not fair for us,genuine girls and clients but I suppose we cannot do anything about it.
Is just the way it is and always will be .xx

Lu, the 'verified photos' is a joke these days, I've said this many times before, ei went out of their way to make it extremely difficult for me to verify my photos, a paid advertiser since 2007, no fake photos reported, all positive reviews. Yet profiles appear on a daily basis with 'verified photos' which clearly are not & members here making numerous references to the fake photos that are apparently 'genuine'. Would someone like to explain to me, how blatantly obvious fake photos are being verified, yet the loyal, long serving advertiser is made to jump through hoops to have their photos verified? Ei dictating what outfit you have to wear in your verification photo so that ei know you are definitely who you claim to be, so how can those girls with fake photos possibly have the outfits that they are wearing in their photos that they submit?

Maybe some of the advertisers that are not verified at the moment will follow your steps.
We cannot just deprive them of their adverts because they prefer their business to be private.

Some of them do use pictures not belonging to them, and there is a reporting tool for that, for you to use to flag this to us.
In few words:
You report, with a link (proof), we take the pics down, it happens 3x, the advertiser will not be able to upload pics for a while.
The report of fakes used in the past stays on the profile.

It's not completely true to state that we turn our blind eye to everything.
We simply are trying to cater for all types of punters and advertisers.

Please flag those profiles (or provide me a link, in private) and we will pass them to our Advertising Team to investigate.

if we did not care, we would not have the reporting system in place and would probably not allow you all the speak your mind in public so freely.

We are people on this side of the screens and we put a lot of effort and enthusiasm in doing our jobs.
And sometimes the things you say can be hurtful.
And we still let you say them.
Because we care.
