people find it so hard to understand space time that newtons gravity is used instead even though space time is a better model.

We automatically think that gravity is pulling a planet. The sun pulls the earth and this is what makes it orbit. the reality is that this is wrong. Gravity is geometry. What the sun does is warp the space time fabric around us which then pushes the planet into orbit around a star

I honestly just cant get my head around it, I am even reading your post and trying to visualise but to no avail.
I still think it is fascinating though and agree that Einstein was some man.

In space there is no friction so the planets just keep on moving around
