New Laws – Increase Site Security – Implement Established Escort Status & Established Punter Status

The punter wants to know about the escort that the escort is who they are in terms of description, age & body shape etc
How good / bad they will provide / perform the services that they say they advertise
Most of this info can be verified from the escort profile & punter reviews.

The escort wants to know that the client is genuine in that he will turn up on time.
That the client is clean / will take a shower & the type of client he is – Age / Body type / not a maniac

I am in a dilemma in that as the site stands I will not be doing reviews in the future (when new law come in) as on the other hand I will only visit escorts who I have know in the past or have reviews. I do not want my review info being read by the police.

I do not want first time posters / non-verified posters (who could be police) seeing the number of posts / reviews that I have done.
I do not want new escorts (who could be police) seeing the number of posts / reviews that I have done.
I definitely do not want them reading my reviews.

So a process needs to be put in place where the escort can prove that they are genuine (Established Escort) & the client can prove that they are
genuine (Established Punter) and until that is proven they are limited in the information that they can access.

Established Punter: You become an established punter when you have posted 5 positive reviews (or over 10 reviews in total)
Established Escort: You become an established escort when you have had 5 positive reviews.

Super Punter: You become a Super punter by registering your personal details (i.e. Photo Id etc) with EI.
Thus the PM system will become more important because it should be possible to show each parties status on the PM sent via the EI website.

Probably needs more work but I wanted to get it out there for discussion so that it could be considered in Lucky Lu's wish list

We cant hide escort profile information and limit it only to established (and / or registered) users.
This would be unfair to our advertisers.
At the moment everyone can see the profile's gallery, contact details and reviews.

Your user name should guarantee you to some degree being anonymous.

There is already an established members lounge.
I like the idea, however cannot really imagine many of you entertaining the idea of disclosing to us your personal details in exchange for the Super Punter status.
Please do not get me wrong, it is a very valid point you are making, but I need more input from everyone in order to better understand and meet your needs.

It sounds like it might be worth a try. No system is foolproof, but the huge number of fake profiles and fake reviews on the site would lead me to believe the established escort tag would be very little better than what already exists. You would question if there's any real will to change that either. Established punter might be useful to the ladies.
I wouldn't touch super punter with a barge pole but others might be more comfortable giving their personal information out.

My thought is that anyone needlessly sending their photo ID into EI to store in order to become an ahem...super punter is not only terminally stupid but probably could do with arresting just to keep them safe from themselves.

An escort is established when she has reviews. Further more, I suspect EI forces most ladies to provide ID upon registration, so I am slightly concerned at the idea of more data collection in order to become established.

I think the OP got the details wrong, but the underlying idea is a good one - to allow escorts and clients to know whether someone they are communicating with has been active on the site for a while. This makes it a bit harder for a policeman or a journalist to infiltrate the site and get sensitive information.

The photo-id suggestion is a non-starter, as others have said.

I agree that the number of reviews is a good measure of trust. It would be easy for someone to post for a while, or log in a large number of times to build up credibility, but actually participating in appointments is a pretty good sign that they are a genuine user!

The harder question is what to do with that "trusted" status. As Lu says, it is not practical to prevent new users from seeing escort profile and contact details. The only useful thing that I can think of is some indication of trust status on profile and PM's. We already have the heart icon to distinguish escorts. If there was also a trust icon on all user names which was colour coded so that users with no trust credentials showed as red, well-established users showed as green, with possibly an amber in between, then escorts and clients could treat people accordingly. For example an escort might choose to ask clients with no track record to phone from a location overloked by their apartment as an extra precaution, but not bother with that if they are well-established. Clients could be more vigilant when an escort is new, and thus more likely to notice people watching them, and less likely to be scammed.
