    Default hotshop phone advice

    how do i use my phone as a hotspot in order to view the internet on my laptop.
    im on 3 and they say No, we don't support tethering. any way around this

    It maybe a number of issues. 1. you may have to contact Three to ENABLE this service. 2. if you are prepay the service may not be allowed.

    Basically, contact Three...

    its prepay and they dont allow it

    I use this allllllllll the time, its my main means of internet when working. one of my networks is 3 and other 087 you just need to switch it on on your phone, then go to internet connections on your laptop and it will ask you for the password which you will find on your phone in settings, enter this and away you go, it will remember this and connect you automatically the next time you turn on your hotspot.p
    I can have up to 10 devices teathering off my 087 number.

    what plan are you on, you must be on contract

    but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
    as they like the sound of their own voices too much.

    are you using it on 3 payg as they are blocking me

    3 say in the t&g that they dont allow it but plenty of people do it anyway and never get caught
