Not the same as logging out.
Logging out is supposed to remove (some or all) of the traces of being on EI.
Dropping the connection or the site logging you out will be like shutting down windows improperly; it will leave traces and temporary files everywhere.

I don't care if my computer traces my activities as I'm not doing anything wrong
I am however sick of having to log in every couple of minutes
