I've been modding for years and in an ideal world I would only delete what I had to, give reasons for doing so and not use any bad language.

But the reality is, it is tough job, and there are only so many hours in the day and when you are dealing with someone who is intent on causing trouble, it gets very difficult and very frustrating.

I've reached the point numerous times when I have had enough of someone and I'm just not able to spend any more time pandering to them.

I don't think any moderator came her thinking - I am not always going to be a perfect mod - but they all walked into a very tough situations.

You and a few others had multiple polls calling for the to be de-modded before they's even got started.

They all started with a good attitude and I think they all still have a good attitude.

I think I've picked moderators well because I've picked nice people who want the best for this site and want a friendly happy fair E-I.

They are all human beings and they will all make mistakes - especially if their task is being made incredibly difficult by troublemakers - but they can all be a great asset to this site in my opinion.

I think we also have to realise - I am the epitome of laid back modding - and for a long time laid back modding worked pretty well, but in recent times it hasn't worked so well, as the number of troublemakers here has just increased and increased, so the level of shit posted here gets worse and worse and whilst some may view that as free speech at work, many just feel intimidated, put off and sick of this place being so full of bullshit. Is it such a bad idea if we try deleting a few more of the nasty threads that don't offer anything positive and see does this improve E-I for everyone?

You can't be a troublemaker and a helper bigpaws, so if you want to be a positive contributor to the site I suggest you stop causing trouble.

BTW: Your complaint by PM to me today that a mod edited a word in one of your posts unfairly simply because you were annoying him, but you are prepared to say this to me privately instead of in public. Get over it. You treat the mods like shit and this is what you get. Why don't you start by apologising for your own disgusting behaviour to date and stopping it now, then I might start taking you seriously.
because he is acting like a child and i will continue to treat him like a child unless he stops personalising the issue. In fact im even going to let you and the other mods deal with him because to be quite frank he is a complete and utter asshole and i dont take anything he says ,goood or bad, right or wrong seriously. As far as im concerned he never wanted modding and now that its in place he is like a child over it.If it wasnt one thing ,it would be another. Its not about the other members, its not about anything or anyone only him and his overinflated shithead not getting his way.

    Default Another thing is

the fact that there are only 9 ppl after voting on the thread alone just goes to show the interest ppl have in his ongoing bs.

Ppl just want to come here and have fun, talk, advertise or whatever.Funny thing is the very fact that he has criticised others over posting non escort related stuff and now has no prob turning the whole site into a bickering show, which proves that mods were needed in the first place, just goes to show the double standards he lives by.I dont take him seriously anymore and thats why i made fun of his post by changing it.He is nothing but a joke to me at this stage.I wouldnt and never will take this clown seriously.

The "moderators" themselves have made their "job" more difficult by abusing their powers, ie. editing/deleting posts and even whole threads for no apparent reason other than they personally didn't like the content and/or poster involved.

They have made a relatively easy job difficult for themselves because of the approach they have taken ................. the majority of the blame for that lies with you patricia.
Firstly you chose the wrong people to be Moderators, you didn't offer any guidance to the Moderators (or if you did privately then you fucked it up!!) on how to moderate and when the "moderators" made errors you ignored (and even supported their mistakes at times ) them instead of rectifiying them.

You also failed to state clearly what the Moderators could and could not do or to let us know what we the Members can or can't say ................ my Declaration would have been a great guidline to give your "moderators" from day one .............. plus if you had stepped in and moderated the "moderators" when they made one of their many many mistakes that would also have been a positive step.

    Paws

ps Regarding my private message to you relating to "moderator" west, I feel you need to put a leash on that poodle as having multiple usernames and "moderating" based on personal resentments is bad enough but actually impersonating existing Members by inserting his own words into somebody else's post is a blatant abuse of the power you have given him ................. stop using excuses patricia and get your "moderators" under control please.
    Gone ........... and forgotten?

I really cannot believe how sad this is - I couldnt give a fuck how things are run here as long as I can dip my wick every now and again - Loosen up ffs

Things are taken way way way way too seriously by some dopey cunts on here. Can I say that ?

Its Pats website she can do whatever she wants. This is not a democracy - I much prefer a benign dictatorship and its benignish enough here for me.

This bit might need tweaking. Just because a majority of people disagree with a mod's decision doesn't mean that he/she *must* change their mind. I suggest inserting something about 'listening to concerns regarding my decisions' and omitting the '... openly admitting I'd made a mistake.'
