I know what he did is wrong but I do feel a tad of sympathy for him. We all make mistakes in life.

The judge said his view was that the case falls into the category of a five-year prison sentence with a range of four to 10 years.

"The defendant must understand there is a very high probability of a significant custodial sentence."

He knew in advance of meeting her what age she was.
They caught him red handed with texts where she told him she was under age and yet he still went ahead and met her.

    He deserves what he gets.

I would have some sympathy if he didn't know as many young girls look older especially when covered in makeup, but he knew

I know what you are saying and I agree he made a big mistake and I would think he is now sorry for his actions, but I think if he was made pay her 50,000 instead of 4 to 10 years in prison . 15 year old girls are married and have kids in some other countries!! and I would think a lot of guys might take a chance if they thought they would get away with it. What age was Mandy Smith when she was dating Bill Wyman of rolling stones a few years back?. Now before all the guys on high horses come on I would lock him up and throw away the key if it was a child , but what age is really acceptable as most young people are sexually active at 15 I would think.

Well that is a good question and I suppose my first reaction would be to beat the shite out of him , but if you stop and think about it what will she gain out of him going to prison? .
She could do a lot with the money and she has got justice with him being found guilty. It is not like he is a mass murderer as I say he made a BIG mistake .

Bet they wouldn't have took legal action against a builder or whatever....
How would they get money? They haven't taken a civil case, he abused a child, simple as, he'll only get what he deserves.
