I was with a male escort in Dublin who I found on this site last week and ended up in hospital for a few days with an infection called Shigella. It causes diarrhoea and vomiting. It's difficult to be sure that you picked up the infection from the escort, lots of other possibilities also.
Any faecal oral contact is risky with either sex, it's a risk punters and escorts take even with the best hygiene, it's never a sterile situation.
Feel sorry for you, and maybe you did get infected by the escort, but if so, it was just really bad luck and hopefully won't put you off future punts.

Ps. Contact with babies nappies is the highest risk for contracting this condition. This can be indirect contact such as shaking hands with someone after they changed their babies nappy.
