    Question Is Ireland ready

    Like the title

Is Ireland actually ready for Transsexuals to integrate in to society? I know its legal for gays to get married but I think the vast majority
of older Irish people have no idea what a transsexual is.

I have no problem with anyones gender or sexual orientation and I think the biggest change is coming because the younger people in society
seem to be more open with peoples sexuality. In the next 40/50 years the clutch that the catholic church have on society will be well and truly
dead and all their taboos gone with them.

It will be great when the time comes when gay bars/clubs become the norm and even a time might come when bars/clubs are not defined with
sexuality and people can socialise as human beings.
Mistakes are proof that you are trying

This reminds me of this picture I saw a while back.
Death comes to all of us, sometimes sooner than we expect.

Don't live your day like it is your last, but live it like it is your first.
    New, exciting and fun

    That's so true.
I was brought up in a time where the church had control over the schools and if you didn't go along with their beliefs/dictatorship then it was beaten in to you until you did agree.

Can see TS being a normal thing in society in 20/30 years but how many of them will be around , who knows

Well, considering a person can rock up to a solicitor's office and declare they are chasing a new gender identity, I would say yes. We are structurally ready.

Are people willing to accept? Most people in this country don't give a fuck what others get up to along as it doesn't disrupt their day to day.
