How long did it take you to get your Driver's License ?

Being Clueless it took me a few efforts to pass the test...

I got mine back in the day when the Irish government were giving them out to clear the back log.
No practical or theory test , just sign on the dotted line but Feck that wasn't easy though

Then i buggered off to the mainland and my lovely employer paid for me to get an English licence including C1 , CE and C1E .
Oh the back handers were all the rage back then

So now i have my Irish licence and my English licence for Mr policeeeeee man. ..........no points on the licence . Ha

Clever !

I've been playing same with my own overseas license xx

Theory test on my first attempt,i felt sorry do for the guy next to me who was on his 9th attempt .

Didn't get the license do until my 4th attempt

If your doing it,maybe try Ennis,statistically it has the highest pass rate in the country

!!

Prob shouldn't get it at all if not able in a few attempts ?

Same here... Never did drivers test. Just got full license. Ha! Suckers...

Oh I wish !!

Last time (before now) I took a driver's Test I was 18 !

: Show up at DMV , grab the 'Rules of the Road' little booklet , while standing in line read it cover to cover , pass

100 question test flawlessly : 100% .

Grade you right there , then you sauntered over to another part of the building where they do your eye exam ,

take your pic , fingerprint , and you were issued a temporary license for 20 bucks .

Right then and there could make appointment for driving test , no lessons required .

I borrowed a car , taught myself (doing wheelies in empty K-Mart parking lots in middle of the night) ,

passed driver's test no prob first go . Brilliantly simple and efficient and streamlined !!


(Almost killed myself a couple of times leading up to the Drivers Test while learning , 'practicing' driving .

: on an automatic vehicle Never !! turn off the ignition while you're coasting down a serpentine road !!!!

Never !! X
