Default Tesco seeking to destroy pay and conditions of long serving staff

It has been reported today that Tesco which earns huge profits in this country, is trying to essentially destroy the curent pay and coditions of its long serving staff!
This is absolutely obscene and approaching a milestone in the sleemheen employers march to the bottom!

This disgusting animalism must be stopped, of course as long as we have Fianna Fáilure, The Blueshirts and The Blueshirt C team (what used to be known as The Labour party) pigging at the trough, it will never be stopped!
    Ride them on the beaches!

ASDA too had a staff canteen but closed it to save money and staff had to bring their lunch with them, this is mad seeing how much these profits these big guns make, staff are just a number and not a person at all to these guys

    Lifestyle did this before

Staff on older contracts with better rates of pay were offered their hours over 4 days
Some morning hrs, some evening hrs etc but all spaced so that they couldn't do them within 3 days and be eligible for dole money.
Of course the staff felt they needed to leave as it wasn't workable

BINGO...................staff on a decent rate were gone and were replaced by staff on shit money and terms/conditions

    Scum

    Disclaimer
The above is a personal opinion ,and in no way is proof that they are infact scum of the earth ,or that this was some HR trick to constructively weed out loyal staff who were earning a living hourly rate. Please don't buy your sportswear elsewhere just because the above has tainted your view of said company

This is nothing to do politics but they should tell them it,s a no go.

This is a Union problem and this is why workers play into Unions.

If the Union is worth their salt they will flatly refuse to negotiate and tell them that the 1996 contracts stand are untouchable, full stop.

The 2006 contracts stand as they are ,,, end of story

Since the so called economic downturn employers have been abusing staff in many ways.
Contract workers is the biggest joke. If you're employed for something like 2 years they have to offer u a permanent position. So what do they do? Lay u off & employ another zero hours contract worker.
Or alternatively re-employ u on a new contract. No pension rights, sick pay or fuck all. Fuckin disgraceful.
