Do you think there were any mechanical issues with the car Divine Miss?

Steering could've maybe been out of alignment, causing the car to not go perfectly straight, pulling to one side or the other.. It wouldn't be unusual, especially for a rental car. Those companies don't put nearly as much mechanical work into them as they'd like to make us think, and a lot of people drive really rough when they take a rental, not treating it like they would their own car.

Or it could've just been that the car was a slightly different size than you're used to, having a different wheel base than others you've driven before. I'd always been used to driving big cars, but always found it strange to drive some of my friends cars, as they all tended to have much smaller cars than I was used to.

I often drive different cars and its not too bad driving a car of a similar size to the one you are most used to.

The problem is when you are used to .. say... a big car and have to drive a small car. The feel and power of the car can be so different.

The trick is the get yourself a chauffeur .... so you can sit in the back admiring your nails
