I agree with what you're saying, mostly. But lets not ignore that the cops are being forced into this law too. Whether they want to or not is irrelevant. Their job, which they are judged on, is to enforce laws, not to make them. They're just another cog, not immune to the services of escorts themselves. Perhaps there's members in the Garda 'union' that would like to support sex worker rights. Do you know they don't? I don't. I don't know one way or the other.
It's complex, as I'm sure you'll understand. So when you throw stereotypical language and descriptors around
