    Default What the fuck is wrong with British Media

    YET AGAIN they have tried claim one of our own as one of their own. This time being Saoirse Ronan. The amount of fucking times this has happened is ridiculous! How fucking ignorant are British journalists?!

    It's not just the Irish that they are selective with. When Andy Murray is winning he's British but earlier in his career he was a dour Scotsman . George Best footballer - British. George Best drunj-Irish. Luk they used to have an empire & the took the best from said empire. So now the best out there in their former empire is legitimately theirs. That is Britain.

    This is what was said ;;

    In a British program about Samuel L Jackson and Colin Farrell’s lastest movie SWAT presented by British presenter, Kate Thornton, the following exchange occured:

    Thornton: What was it like working with Colin (Farrell), cos he is just so hot in the U.K. right now?

    Jackson: He’s pretty hot in the U.S. too.

    Thornton: Yeah, but he is one of our own.

    Jackson: Isn’t he from Ireland?

    Thornton: Yeah, but we can claim him cos Ireland is beside us.

    Jackson: You see that’s your problem right there. You British keep claiming people that don’t belong to you. We had that problem here in America too, it was called slavery.

    If someone British sees the name Saoirse, they immediately know it's one of their own.

    10,000 years of Middle Eastern civilisation and the place is not at peace but rather in pieces.

    Kind of ironic when you consider her name literally means 'freedom'.

    We are sometimes guilty of the same thing we have in the past claimed the great Daniel Day Lewis as Irish and we lay claim to Saoirse Ronan even though she was born in America, although she does have dual citizenship.

    Daniel day Lewis is an Irish citizen and resident, his father was born in Laois.

    By your warped logic cliff Richard and Johanna lumley are Indian, Bruce Willis is german, Amy Adams is Italian, Isla Fisher is Omani, Emma Watson is French, Keanu Reeves is Lebanese and Keifer Sutherland is English.
