I've long believed that the real enemy in the Middle East is Saudi Arabia. Maybe this will help the rest of the world begin to see it as well.

It's galling how many Saudi apologists there are in American and British politics, considering the amount of international terrorism they are directly and indirectly responsible for.
The Wahhabist brand of Islam that Saudi Arabia exports to Europe is a particularly dangerous strain of fundamentalism.

For the West, the real enemy is its over dependence on oil(including 85% engery importing and high energy consumption Ireland) which dictates our need to pussyfoot around and cosset our relations with the "Kingdom''and to protect it from perceived Iranian threats by supplying arms or whatever.
And from a purely selfish Western perspective, whatever the ruling elite in S. Arabia is, alternatives are likely to be worse (as in Iraq, Libya, Syria).

    Shalom/salaam.
10,000 years of Middle Eastern civilisation and the place is not at peace but rather in pieces.

Here is a well written, impartial and informative article for anyone looking to brush up on their Iran-Saudi Arabia 'Cold War' history.

I believe the 'Real Enemy' in Mid-East life and politics is outside influence !

    Most recently US , UK , France , Russia , etc .

If only !! If only there was a way to contain the violence to their nether regions -- without 'us' having to interfere AND

without their violence being visited upon us !!

    : would be a bliss !!! X

** Saudi : what a crying to God shame to endure and to excuse such a regime , all for 'alliance' ??

They have nothing but their own very best interest at heart ; and they won't last long. And then , US left

holding its hat in hand .

    What a mess .
