On the face of it, the interpretation of the title of Shakespeare's eponymous play would appear to be simply "A Big Fuss Over Hardly Anything". However, modern feminist literary critics suggest a double entendre in the title.

The "nothing" of the title may represent a woman's vagina ('nothing' between her legs, as the Elizabethans compared it to a penis), and the "Much Ado" may instead refer to all the fuss over which man gets to score.

Therefore, behind the comedy, Much Ado About Nothing may well mean A Big Fuss Over Who Gets To Bone The Sexy Girls.

    Now for ya!
