I despair when I see comments like this from a mod:
"We improved the website, there was some collateral damage..."

When will you realise you have not improved the web site from both the escort & punters experience.

As has been said before it takes more clicks to do the same thing as before. Often you are forced to go back to the beginning of a search or process rather than being able to continue - you have not maintained the links - a fundamental design flaw.

I accept you had to change the software / platform & redesign the web site but you failed to keep the same good functionality that was there before.

You should have engaged actively & openly with the users of the web site on the features that they liked / disliked before re-designing the new web site.
