You're right and you're wrong tom, IMO.

We don't always grow and we don't necessarily grow just because we live. Time on its own is no answer, facing fears and unknowns is what challenges what we are.

Exactly, we can wander along through time but not benefit in any shape or form from it. It is what we do along the way that counts and defines us.

This is exactly it! I thought the very same, however I have not gone so far as to experience it yet. The thing is that now I won't dismiss it in the way I might have as I know that I don't know if I'd like it or not!

I never got the anal fascination that some guys have. It never interested my to be honest. Then one afternoon I was with a really energetic lady who said to me 3 or 4 times she "wanted to feel my cock in her ass" While it was something that hadn't interested me I reckoned I should at least try it, especially as she was so willing. I did and I enjoyed it — but even so I don't have a fascination for it and haven't done it since, not because I don't want to but because I haven't gone out of my way to look for it and the ladies I have seen since don't list it. But at least now I know I like it.

I think what Mister Anderson is saying is what we do as time goes by is what makes us what we are.

It all comes back to that old adage 'nothing venture, nothing gained'. They should update that to 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained, nothing learned'. Or nothing lived.

I'd say time is the stage where we tell our stories.

That's a fundamentally flawed argument. If time were to make us who we are then time would be destiny. I believe in free will.
