It is not the way the system is supposed to work, but still, he is only working it.
Perhaps a better system would be that all new posters get access to various services at the discretion of the mods, not depending on how many posts they have.

That's a good point. But it's still strange that he'd feel the need to point out he knows he need to post 10 times by actually starting a thread and telling people what he's gonna do with his next nine posts.

cannot help but we are under the impression that many people feel like they have to post 10x.
was just wondering why you need the 10 posts apart from liking a post?
In order to send a PM - no need to have posted anything prior to sending a PM - this is so that you can always PM a Mod if you need us.
If you wish to add a friend - you need to have posted 3 times
and to thank a post - 10 posts are required.
