They really need to have VAR in Championship grounds, as well as Prem grounds from next season. I can get lower league clubs not having the costs to operate VAR, but a lot of Championship clubs throw away silly money on wages, like Sunderland last season, which could be used to fund VAR

No they can`t. A late consolation but Utd still go out of the Cup. So there will be no all Manchester semi final or final. After their come back today Man City must now be the clear favourites to lift the trophy in May but Wolves might be worth backing also.

    FA Cup semi-final draw

    Manchester City v Brighton

    Watford v Wolves

Will Wolves reach their first FA Cup final in nearly sixty years? Or will Chris Hughton`s Brighton cause a major shock and dump City out of the Cup?

Man City are still on course for the quadruple and Watford are into the FA Cup final for the first time since 1984. City will start as clear favourites to lift the trophy but no doubt will remember their shock final defeat by Wigan in 2013 so should not be too complacent come next month.

News outlets are reporting that Delaney has told "friends" he is to step aside from the F.A.I.
The FAI has not yet released a statement.
He will continue on the gravy train in his UEFA role.
Will he get a handshake ,golden or silver?

Well it gives you a good idea of the standard of the English clubs. Me, I personally thought that the standard had dropped in recent years but Klopp has brought a new attacking style of football to Liverpool and I think that only for the improvement there City would have had the league wrapped up long ago. All the other big clubs are just fighting for a top 4 spot.Maybe the English game isn't in such a bad way after all.

Former Celtic captain Billy McNeill - the first British footballer to lift the European Cup - has died aged 79.

McNeill led Celtic when they beat Inter Milan 2-1 in 1967 and captained the club to nine successive titles, seven Scottish Cups and six League Cups.

In two spells as Celtic boss, he won four titles and four cups. He managed Clyde, Aberdeen, Manchester City and Aston Villa too.
