What i'm thinking with a very early election in the offing, end of January early February will they have time to get through the new sexual offences bill,be nice if it was to be delayed for a few months,as for the election itself, couldn't give a bollox as they are all alike, won't affect any of us,who is in.

Yes indeed. I honestly can't be bothered voting anymore for that very reason. The current options are all (doesn't matter who) parroting the line that ever more government is the solution to everything. Lipstick on Pig A, or lipstick on Pig B?

The only way I'll be voting is with my feet and leaving the country if the government continues to ruin the country further.

Well people are afraid of change and that is why voting FF FG and sorry to say Labour will never get you change, and when you say to vote for people before profit or SF all you hear is that they would wreck the economy, but they forget that this economy was already wrecked by FF and continued by FG and Lab so until we have a change in mindset .

Very true. Irish people also tend to follow political parties like a soccer club. Regardless of performance we'll stick with them for life.
