Is the so called trolls really anymore annoying than most of the rubbish posted here anyway?

If you dont like what someone posts, dont read it & move along as is told to everyone else often enough.

I would imagine the 'so called trolls' who were posting facebook private pics of established escorts and calling some others drug users and accusing others of offering unprotected sex would be more annoying to be fair,I would also agree with ignoring them but sadly when that stuff is posted it will still be read and believed.

I didnt see facebook pics posted but then I'm not on here 24/7. Thats out of order obviously & whoever it was was dealt with I assume? Surely that doesnt happen too often though? I've only known of a few times when private info was posted in all my years here!
I've seen all sorts of drink/drug accusations from many different people. Is it ok for some to do it but not others?
I guess its all about perspective really. I just know that half the ones I see called trolls seem ok but have differences of opinion to other members.

If people want to really upset someone then limited number of posts, days counted from registering etc is not gonna stop them.
Also there's 24/7 moderation now or do some of you feel you need more protection from the big bad interweb?

As your talking about stuff thats already happened, are you expecting more of the same for some reason?

I agree with that,I was addressing the difference between what you were calling so called trolls and the rubbish posted though,I was pointing out the huge difference.

Why make it more newbie unfriendly god knows it can be enough at times. I mean some new posters are totally ignored when they make good valid comments. And yes I am guilty of this as well.

But surely the situations you mentioned are very few & far between arent they?

My point is, just incase it wasnt clear. I see no point in changing the format as the spammers posts arent any more offensive/annoying than half the shite thats wrote by established members. They may just want to be able to pm girls for bookings, which is the point of this site after all. It shouldnt be made more difficult for them to do so. Obviously if they are being nasty there's plenty here who can report or get posts deleted very quickly.

someone with a vandetta are not going to let a little thing like 100 posts or 1 month registered member condition get in their way. people need to be more carefull with personal information they value and/or pick 'friends' from different industries

Good point but id say as Natalie said earlier the fact their are night time mods now should prevent future problems of that nature.
