Not sure how you melting and cracking ice will end up with us frozen,do explain.

The science is weak in this one.....

Water freezes from the top down, hence why you get ice. But the water below will be extremely cold still. And depending on how cold it is, the surface water could refreeze very quickly, trapping you all below.

But it's an ice rink the water can't be that deep,unless you plan on standing on out heads?

I wasn't talking about an ice rink, I was talking about a nice frozen lake hence THE WOODEN LOG CABIN.
