    Default Advice Needed

I booked an escort last night but left as not the same as her pictures and she got upset somewhat when i said i was not staying.
So I opened the door and made my way downstairs and out the main door, I checked a text and then started walking and was hit from behind and someone shouting B*stard, and fell to the ground, was dazed or out for several minutes and when I gathered myself and got up, i checked my pocket and thankfully the 100 euro, the fee was still there but smartphone screen was cracked but worst of all my gold ring was missing.
I tried to contact escort as wanted to see what she would say but no answer and door shut.
Its a nice apartment area but didn't see any cctv there either so what can I do.
Has it ever happened to other guys?

    My advice, call the gardai..
Was it a female voice that you heard?
If you don't feel up to exposing yourself as a punter to the fuzz, make an anonymous report that there is brothel operating there.
You shouldn't put up with that shit.

I thought about the Gardai but how can I explain what I was doing and could make things worse for me and still not come any speed.
I would not even have mentioned this only for a valuable ring with sentimental value was taken.
    Feeling lousy at the moment.

This quote makes me feel really sad. Without checking if the girl actually had anything to do with it, without asking a few questions of the client, you actually encourage someone to make trouble for a chick who more than likely was too scared to answer the phone again because walkouts make everyone jumpy. Call the Gards, eh? Hope you feel the same way when some random stranger does the same to you when the law changes.

To the OP, one question? How could the lady in the five minutes (being generous) it took for you to get to her lobby arrange to have you robbed? By your own admission you intended to stay so all of that is a little too coincidental. Please do not ring the Gards come on her, without proof you may be making trouble for a completely innocent girl.

I'll answer this first very easily,, maybe friend was and was it their intention to rob me??? I did say I stopped outside abit 'texting' on phone before I carried on my way. I wasn't beat up or given a hiding, I was struck a blow from behind and fell to the ground, i'm a little guy only 5'6 and yes I booked as intended to stay but only with the girl in the pictures but it was not the girl in the pictures and so told her that I would leave
I would not have got the guards involved like reporting it as a brothel as that serves no purpose as the escort is now gone from there anyway, not advertising that I can see, and there will probably be others escorts there soon so by the time the guards would act on it I would only be getting other decent escorts and clients in trouble so no way would I that on my conscious .
I'm gutted about the ring being taken, sentimental value and would pay to have it back.
If they are reading this maybe they could have a heart and think about returning it to me

I find this story strange on both levels I'm guessing the lady in question had no reviews and no verified pics which sounds dodge I could be wrong but hardly Somone mugged him the two have to be connected I wouldn't like to see the lady in trouble if innocent but I don't see how she is I think name and shame on her

I don't find it very amusing, did you ever lose something that was given to you by someone special several years ago and is not longer in this world

i am sorry to hear this happened to you but maybe the escort had nothing to do with this at all and it could have been robbers that knew there was escorts working in that area and was watching clients going in and out and unfortunely it had to be you i dont think you will get your ring back i really hope you do but it could have been worse when you say they hit you on the head may be your lucky to be alive thankgod x x x

I'm not worried by you leaving, OP. I'm worried by your assumption. The escort would have had five minutes at most to arrange to rob you of a...wedding ring. By your own admission, you were out cold, 100 euros sitting happily in their little pocket. So, if I'm a robber, lets weigh it up. For I rob you in the lobby, after being alerted to your no show, jump you and then steal a 2 gram wedding ring which retails at 6.25 euro per gram? Or Nick the cash? You are already on the floor, it's no difference.

Think about this. It makes no sense. Maybe you were mugged, maybe you fainted, but really? Can you be sure you were set up?
