I never watch said "documentary" about sex and prostitution as im pissed off how many lies they say there and how distorted they show the things ... they are far far away from reality but again mass media confirm that they are just a tool to control people minds and put in them head what some interested third part want people to see and believe

You said it. It's all rubbish really, it's just a ploy for more viewers. Twisting the truth and facts to accomplish that is something the media does quite often, and it's not just the topic of sex work here. I won't watch it myself either for that very reason, I'll just end up annoyed as a result of it.

Come to think of it, I don't really watch or read much mainstream mass media at all for that reason. I actually don't even have a TV in my apartment.

I guess at least the Guards can't say that the general public have not ben forewarned with this documentary giving the low down to the who's, why's and how's. Even if they are exaggerated and in some cases likely porkies.

I will be watching it, but not because I'm expecting this to be at all honesty or representative, but because I like to know what the general public are being fed, so I can try to understand where they are coming from when they are telling me I know nothing and I've got it all wrong. I believe knowledge is power and that applies to misconceptions and deliberate attempts to mislead.

Apologies for bursting the bubble but we are in fact mostly normal guys and sadly for the media the vast majority of Ladies working are here of their own free will and happy at their job ,I know that's not what you want to hear and it will be in contrast to the programme you are watching/have just watched.

For the ladies that are not here of their free will we in no way condone that and most of us here would report such information to the Garda.

The good news is their is a new law coming in which will make the scene go underground so the ladies won't be safe anymore,Ohh wait that's not good is it?

Agreed. Difficult as it will be to watch, I'll give it a go just to see what new lies the media are feeding the public. I'm sure it will be all guesswork (2 + 2 = 9) and speculation with no actual real evidence.
