I think Fr Ted would've been and Was revolutionary in its time xx absolutely no doubt about it .

But the world marches on , and just as Richard Pryor was a pioneer in the late 50s / 60s , it got dated over time ,

so he moved on to new material . Ted was an iconic legendary moment in time imo x and funny for its era x hat's off .

Have to disagree miss Taylor.
He was headline act at a recent function and he was not that funny at all .
He homed in on a couple of people in the audience and tried to make clowns out of them.
Seemed to struggle for material and didnt go down to well.

His type of humour would be for a select audience,it would be easy to say he is not funny but the fact remains to the audience that would normally pay to see him he is brilliant.

EU money's dried up.... too many rescue misions in the Med has eaten up the budget. Those runways'll have to wait.
