The Sex Trade

Having tolerated the sex trade since the beginning of civilisation, it has suddenly become exceedingly safe for the ladies. We now have condoms, regular health tests, mobile phones, and police forces, who are now sympathetic to the women. The risk of pregnancy and abortion no longer need exist.



So now that it is safe,governments want it banned, on the grounds that "free will" has been stolen from these women.



And of course zero hours contracts, and minimum wages, are fine................whilst the rich get richer,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the rest of us survive.

Even pensions for us will be miserable, whilst those in power, get increases,( which they are entitled to???)

Then all we can do is 'fuck' and risk the consequences of purchasing sex............without a receipt.

I heard a TD on the radio saying that we should ban the prostitution once and for all,
Who voted for someone with such a limited opinion ?
Allegedly the oldest profession in the world and he is going to stop it,
Live and let live I say, where is the balance in his argument

Banning it and forcing it underground would strengthen the hands of potential gangsters and increase the liklihood of coerced people being exploited and also increase the danger to personal safety of any such coerced people.

Its populist opinions. Its a politicians job to get votes, so they will base their views in a lot of cases on what will get them elected, even if that view is narrow minded and shortsighted.

Truth be told politicians are probable using the ladies too.
