I thought he came across as genuinely angry about what had happened and the reasons for why it was told it had happened and he is right. The Muslim faith does believe in peace and tolerance and it does not advocate violence. Someone who abides by the faith would not do what happened in France, so the people that did that are using the Muslim faith as an excuse to do what they have done and they are hiding behind it and they don't care about the Muslim's that have been left to pick up the pieces and try and protect the name of their faith.

Personally I am not a follower of faith and one of the main reasons for that was that I couldn't stomach the manipulation within it and that goes for any faith or any religion. I've not encountered one yet that doesn't appear to be some kind of didactic rule book telling me how to live my life when I'm more than capable of making those kind of decisions for myself.

‘There shall be no compulsion in the religion’. Qur’an 2:256

The very essence of ‘peaceful Islam’? Indeed, but read on:

I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.’ Qur’an 8:12

Like the bible, the Qur’an has two parts. Basically what Allah told Muhammad when he was meditating in a cave in Mecca, and what Allah told him after he had fled to Medina with his followers.

Mecca was a polymath city whose main source of income was storing the various idols that people came to worship – Mecca, his birthplace tolerated many different ‘religions’. What they didn’t tolerate, after quietly coexisting with this ‘new’ version of Allah, as preached by Muhammad, was Muhammad joining forces with the city of Medina to force them all to follow Muhammad.
After Muhammad fled to Medina 13 years later, his rhetoric changed somewhat. Where he had believed:

Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion. Qur’an 109:1-6

    Now he wanted to:
… kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. Qur’an 2:191-193

Those who say that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’ really mean is that most Muslims ignore Muhammad’s later teachings, that is to dispute that the Qur’an is the word of Allah – and unless Allah has specified that you can ignore what he has said – then you can’t. Simple as that.
What is needed is an authoritative figure – the King of Saudi Arabia? – to declare once and for all which bits of the Qur’an are to be followed, and which bits ignored.

Muhammad was sadistic and ruthless, he knew it was the only way to keep the various tribes in line. The west's recent fairytale idea of killing ME despots and hoping enlightenment and democracy would follow was never going to happen. Islam and ISIS are a tribal death cult, people seem to have forgotten what happened in 1988 when Satanic verses was published and a culture totally at odds with a liberal democracy revealed itself.
Now the EU has invited the invaders with a red carpet and plenty of cash, we will pay a price.

This no...I'd rather not listen to him. I'd rather listen to anything else. I believe whatever the name, God doesn't teach us to kill each other. Period. We have no right to take anyone's life, we have no right to judge. What happened in France is tragic, so many people lost their lives for the pleasure of those morons. I've seen a lot of people posting the message on the internet that terrorism has no religion. Terrorism is born out of the religious beliefs taken to extreme! I don't think it was God's will to take so many lives.

What did those animals prove? Nothing! If you want to blow yourself up because in your twisted little head you believe that's god's wish go in the middle of nowhere and do that! Don't drag innocents into your sick and twisted ways

It's got nothing to do with religion. The killers in Paris were manipulated by others just as we are manipulated. God, Allah, freedom and democracy; these are just the vehicles that are used to create the tensions and fear and hatred that allow governments and terror groups to get what they want. Every religion and ideology is just another from of oppression. Once we start to fear and hate - we've lost.
