Default Should We Have To Request Access to Porn?

    https://www.escort-ireland.com/blog/.../#.VkmrqnXtlBc

In the interest of protecting children, it has been put forward that to see porn, we should actually have to request it. What do you think?

If kids are to be protected from porn then it's the responsibility of the parents to prevent them from accessing it. Why should I have to request to watch something I want to watch, I have no kids nor do any access my computer.
Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die

Since we have started the conversation what else should we have restricted access to?
Anything that offends the Catholic Church?
    Anything that offends the DUP?
Anything that offends The Government in general?

I am no techie, but could it not be possible to only sell devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)to under 18s that have some sort of block to porn on them. And anything else ending up in the possession of underage people should be the responsibility of parents/guardian's.

I always laugh at the Government attempts to censor stuff on the internet, as it's just such a total waste of time and resources.

I mean, just take one example - the world renowned torrent website The PirateBay. There have been constant attempts to censor that and take it offline for almost a whole decade now, and yet it's never been more popular now judging by web traffic, and even though all ISPs in Ireland have the base Domain and IP address of the site blocked, there are countless proxy services popping up all the time that let you get around it in a single click.

I honestly couldn't care less if this is tried here, because I know it'll be an abject and unmitigated failure before it ever gets started.

Yeah the parents have to take responsibility to watch kids online. I'm a young horny guy and I look at porn if I'm not with a girl fuck that What else are they going to try to ban next.
