I know from experience : takes enormous trust between beast and rider to go without a saddle !!

Disaster is just a hair's breadth away !!

Just couple of weeks ago went to a horsie show , tried to get on top of a tall horse with no saddle --

OY ! The embarrassment ! I was not able !!
