Can we restrict soap characters to Soap land

If they have to exist can they be restricted to Soapland where at least they can be ignored.

Obviously some fool thinks its funny to recreate every character from coronation St Eastenders Dallas etc but if it was ever funny it is well past its sell by date.


It is just annoying at this stage

The whole soap "character" thing has been done to absolute and utter death here, any semblance of wit that might have been involved has been completely obliterated by basic over indulgence and the resultant inevitable drop in comedy quality!!!!!

To cut this short, it's as borrrrrrrrrinnnnggggggg as fcuk nowadays!!!!!! Yeah people seem to know the characters and all their peculiar witticisms and idiosyncrasies but the comedic value of having amateurs (which we all are here) attempting to imitate those characters is lacking in the extreme!!!!!!!!
