Being English myself & having lived there all my life until recently, I can honestly say I wish he'd succeeded as history might have been very different in a good way. Some say Guy Fawkes was the only man to ever enter the Houses of Parliament with honest intentions.

If someone were to do the job now though, that would be fine with me!

Being of an Anarchist persuasion as I am, I fully wish that the plot had succeeded.

I find the idea of monarchy to be morally offensive in every possible, and anyone who would presume to call themselves 'king' over others had better have the personal strength and fortitude to back it up, having PERSONALLY TAKEN POWER, or be prepared to meet as violent a death as deserved.
