At least in this article, they didn't publicly 'name and shame' the poor guy, at least not yet anyway. The arrest and pending charges/trial will be bad enough for him, we can only home that some degree of decency and privacy will be granted to him, but I'm not optimistic on it; I imagine the TORL people will be publishing him name and protesting outside his home, declaring his a pervert and a menace, all in their shameful attempts to publicly embarrass and shame him.

To be fair, the PSNI were always going to have to arrest some poor few sods to show that they're enforcing the law - escorts have been saying all along that once you're discreet then the PSNI generally pay no heed.

Exactly, the ruse was that this law was brought in to stop trafficking, why doesn't it say how many trafficked victims? As much as this goes against the grain for those in favour of this bill, trafficked girls are in minority. The research paper undertaken by Dr Susan Huschke, clearly illustrated this. In her research paper & out of all the girls who completed the survey, less than 1% said that they had been trafficked. The rest of the escorts are working of their own free will.

He will probably be named at some stage as criminal offense now but to be fair in NI I could count the Escorts on one hand that are actually true independents

Arrested but not charged with any offence. So he was probably let go with a caution.

It was also a raid on a brothel where 3 girls were working. Nothing new there. Guys are really risking things by visiting brothels north or south. North you can be charged in the south you can be summoned as a witness. In either case it's the naming and shaming.
