    Default High Risk Job

A gentle reminder for those of you who think that Escorts have it easy.

A crack addict jailed after disembowelling his girlfriend broke a court order by visiting a brothel within days of his release from prison.

Mathew Tippett, from Solihull, slashed open his partner’s abdomen, slashed at her throat and stabbed her repeatedly after she said she was leaving him.

He ignored Danielle Crickett’s pleas for help and told her she would die as he left her bleeding on a filthy mattress with her intestines hanging out.
Miraculously, she survived for almost 24 hours before Tippett relented, took her to a supermarket car park and called an ambulance.
Tippett, 37, then of Greenhill Way, Shirley was jailed for 12 years after admitting attempted murder at Warwick Crown Court following the incident in 2004.

The court was told Danielle met Tippett in Birmingham city centre and moved into his flat.
Within two months she had decided to end the relationship and move back to live with her sister in Stechford because she was worried about Tippett’s aggression when he had been taking crack and his obsession with knives.

On Sunday, June 15 as they sat on a mattress in the living room, she plucked up the courage to tell him she was moving out, at which he began to shout at her and armed himself with one of the knives he kept under the mattress, carrying out the brutal attack.

He was released from prison in September this year and moved to a new home in Derby Street, Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside.

Tippett was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, restricting him from forming a sexual relationship with any woman without informing police.
This means officers can then contact the woman to inform them of his conviction because of their ‘right to know’.
But within days of his release from prison Tippett went to a brothel in Market Street, Newton-le-Willows on September 25 and was arrested by police.

Tippett, with short black hair and wearing a grey T-shirt in the dock at Liverpool Crown Court, admitted a single breach of the order.
Waheed Omran-Baber, defending, requested a four-week adjournment so Tippett can be assessed by probation officers before he is sentenced.

because it was consenting adults, there was no violence used and it was a one-off incident at that stage. “As far as the order is concerned, I accept from the outset he engaged in that behaviour recently having been given the interim order.
“He is not a sex offender per se – it’s due to the no doubt very last conviction the order simply because it was consenting adults, there was no violence used and it was a one-off incident at that stage.

Tippett spoke only to confirm his personal details and to say he understood the recommendations made in a preliminary report.
Judge Brian Cummings, QC, adjourned sentencing until November 30.

However, the judge said he was not making Tippett any guarantees about what sentence he will receive.

He said: “All options will be open to the sentencing judge and that includes an immediate custodial sentence.”
The judge granted Tippett bail on the condition that he live at Stafford House probation hostel in Croxteth Road, Toxteth and abide by a 11pm to 7am curfew daily.
Tippett, formerly of Greenhill Way, Shirley, was 25 at the time of the horrific attack on his ex-girlfriend, who was then 27.

Judge Richard Cole, sentencing at Warwick Crown Court, said: ‘Your intention, quite obviously, was to kill.
“Had it not been for the combination of a courageous young woman and the skill of the surgeons, you would have achieved your aim.”

This chap is a VERY dangerous man and if you read the article they have no concern that he was visiting a brothel, just that he broke his conditions. They don't seem to think he was any threat, despite the fact that he had an obsession with knives and had only been dating his ex gf for 2 months before attacking her due to rejection.

My own personal experience I have met 2 guys who had just been released from jail and a fair few that have been involved with drugs, even if they were not taking drugs in my company (that I know of). Thankfully for me the guys I have met have been very honest and up front and told me about why they were in prison and seemed like actually decent enough guys, but... maybe I was lucky? You never know who is going to be walking through that door, what they are going through in their personal life or how they might be feeling. We do make an easy target for those that want to get rid of a bit of tension and who knows how that might transpire?

Never say our job is easy or we are over paid, as this IS a high risk job and we are often the first port of call for people who have been locked up for some time.

    That's it really

p.s. that guy who was looking for brothels in Birmingham. These ones won't be far away from there.
