    As im sure there are many members here who dont have IT skills DO NOT FORMAT your pc.
    You might as well fuck it in the bin as ypu will have to reload absolutely everything and everything saved islost.
    Same as cutting off your leg if you stub your toe.

    Alot of people will have their own recomendations i suggest the following.

    Download malwarebytes for free
    Down load cc cleaner for free
    Sign up for eset for security provider :-)you can get free trial period also

    I dont personally like avg and i have had serious problems with mcafee in the past

    Great if you know what you are doing, for majority of users would be very interesting to see them scramble for licence keys etc for microsoft products they bought 3 yrs ago not to mention any add ons like torrents etc that would have come their way since. Only the tech savy should ever reformat or you can imagine the pile of shite that they would be stuck with.

    i restored it to before the time the virus hit. luckily for me it wasnt the actual virus. only a frozen screen. but once i killed it and restarted the laptop, it worked fine
